2024-2025 Back-to-School Connections will take place August 26 - September 6, 2024, for elementary, TK-8, and middle school families. Early release times for these school sites.

Register for bus passes for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year beginning July 8 with a priority for students who qualify (free). General registration open up July 22.

Do you have a child who is 4 or 5 years old? Sign them up for transitional kindergarten or kindergarten at MPUSD today and don’t delay!

This school year (2023-2024), MPUSD has doubled down on its reading efforts launching a “Reading is Key” literacy initiative focused on helping students achieve fluency in phonics to reach its reading goal.

MPUSD's elementary, transitional kindergarten through 8th grade (TK-8), and middle schools will hold parent/teacher/student conferences March 7-15, 2004. Look for information coming soon from your school. Elementary and TK-8 students will release at 12:50 p.m. and middle school students will release at 1:30 p.m.

The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District schools will open their doors to the community and host their spring 2024 open houses in April and May.

The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District and its schools will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The student transfer window to transfer a child from one school to another school in the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District will open on January 4, 2024, and run through February 2, 2024. This applies for students in elementary, transitional kindergarten - 8th, and middle schools only.
